Vender Information:
Booth rental is $10 per Saturday or $150 for a season pass. The market is open every Saturday, May through September, so a season pass saves you $70 and guarantees you the same spot every Saturday. You have until the end of June to decide if you want a season pass, and whatever you have already paid goes toward the $150. If you pay $10 per Saturday you can only set up in an unreserved spot where another vendor has not already set up.
Vehicles are not allowed in the center of the market. Vendors can pull in to unload (and to load up after noon) but then they must park their vehicles outside of that area. If you pull a trailer or need your vehicle, there are other areas where vehicles are allowed.
Booth rent is for a 10×10 ft to 14x 14 foot space (depending on the size of your tent canopy). You must bring your own tables, chairs, tent canopy and weights, and everything else you will need. There is some shade, a little bit of a wind break, and a pipe curb around the park area that you can use to anchor the back legs of your tent canopy. There is no electricity, you will have access to a water faucet that is located on the property, and you will also be responsible for removing your own trash from the location.
Items sold at the Farmers Market must be handmade, homemade, or homegrown. There are some exceptions but you must talk to me in advance. If you are wanting to sell food, there are some items you can sell without a food license and some foods that require a food license to sell. Call or text 620 624 8832 to discuss what you want to sell and I can email/text/message the regulations book to you.
You don’t have to reserve a spot or pay in advance. Just show up, be set up and ready to sell by 8 am and we ask that you not leave before noon unless you sell out. Booth rent will be collected about mid-morning. If you want me to promote you, let me know by Thursday night. I am live on Radio Bay on KSCB AM every Friday morning, We also have a ½ hour live radio show at 9 am on the third Wednesday morning of every month, Live on Broadcast Square, on 1270 KSCB AM, so I would need to know before the third Wednesday of the month if you want to be promoted at that time. In addition, I post weekly on the Farmers Market FB page as well and on community event and buy/sell groups. After all the vendors get set up on Saturday morning, I do a FB live and post pictures to the FB pages/groups.
