Camping, birding and hiking and is a great place to take the family for a day or weekend. Nestled in the Cimarron River valley, the main campground includes both tent and RV campsites, playground equipment, volleyball court, sheltered picnic area, bathhouses and nature trails. Fishing allowed from 7 am to 9 pm at multiple ponds. Kansas fishing license required and available from camp host.  Birding enthusiasts will find a variety of waterfowl and other species and might even glimpse an eagle or two.
