The Mosquito is the original high performance hotend designed from the ground up for professional 3D printer users. Mosquito is rated to 500 °C for even the most demanding tasks, and features our patented One-handed Nozzle Change to allow for the simplest nozzle change procedure of any hotend. The tough roll cage design protects the delicate heat break from crashes and other abuse. Superior heat break performance is derived from the Bimetallic Heat Break designed to eliminate heat creep and jamming, improve print resolution and lower retraction values. The copper alloy hot block is nickel plated and enables printing of every commercially available filaments from basic PLAs to custom, medical-grade PAEKs. Mosquito is ambidextrous, modular, fits standard Rep Rap style nozzles and has numerous mounting options to fit virtually any FFF/FDM 3D printer. Every Slice Engineering hotend is 100% designed, manufactured, inspected, and shipped from the USA.
