For the love of the arts…

Baker Arts Center is where people can go to explore their artistic side! Be it arts and crafts painting, music or even cooking/baking this dynamic facility has you covered! Baker arts Center offers Locals and visitors the opportunity to view the Baker’s Permanent Collection as well as showcase new exhibits. The Center also features an extensive children’s discovery center, educational studio for art and music classes and workshops throughout the year.

The center is the former home and lifelong dream of Irene Dillon and Francis Marion Baker. The couple left their home and a portion of the surrounding block to the Baker Arts Foundation to become the Arts Center. An artist herself, Mrs. Baker spent many hours behind a canvas or a camera. Although Mr. Baker died in 1968, Mrs. Baker continued to work toward their dream and had over 100 pieces in a private collection at the time of her death in 1984.

Admission Fee is $5 per person, Free for Members.
